Responsibilities

  • Analysing, designing, testing and deploying Affinity enhancements. 
  • Assisting with technical upgrades, development, testing and deployment. 
  • Handling high-level payroll related queries and troubleshooting complex issues. 
  • Deployment and review of payroll policies and controls. 
  • Conducting finance/HR analysis and developing reports to present insights to clients. 
  • Acting as the employer and employee interface for customer support. 
  • Maintaining payroll system configuration to ensure compliance with policy and legislation. 
  • Working closely with the Operations / Delivery team to deploy new services. 

What you’ll need to succeed 

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an IT or finance role. 
  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • A deep understanding of various hardware, software, and networking technologies. 
  • An ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems. 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in regulations, technology, and processes. 
  • Knowledge of Australian and/or New Zealand payroll, tax and employment legislation would be advantageous, but not a requirement.
